Release 1 of Sazerac 18 Year Old Rye bottled in 2001, distilled in 1981. Forming part of the original Buffalo Antique Collection Sazerac 18 Year Old Rye has been released annually ever since. At the time of bottling 74% of the whiskey that entered the barrels 18 years earlier had evaporated.
This 2000 release is the only one confirmed by Buffalo Trace as being distilled in 1981.
