Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Rye is an un-chill filtered Rye Whiskey from a mash bill of 56% Rye, 33% corn and 11% malted barley. The relatively high corn content for Settlers Select Rye is to provide a broader balance of flavour to offset the typical high ryes commonly found. All ingredients are 100 percent KY Proud®-sourced ingredients.

The distillate enters the 53-gallon barrels at 100 proof, the lowest entry proof of any rye whiskey in Kentucky, and is aged for 4 years on the upper floors of Rickhouses A and B. The plan is to age the ryes for 6-8 years but on finding honey-barrels they are being released early in very limited quantities.
