Belle Meade's Single Barrel's are only available at the distillery gift shop and select retailers in the US. The barrels are selected through a tasting process in which a team of Belle Meade's staff scrutinise samples of well-aged barrels. To pass muster the barrel must show the characteristics that are the hallmarks of a superior Bourbon; balance, depth, and complexity. The few barrels that make the grade are then set aside to be bottled at true cask strength. 107.9
