Kentucky Buck

KENTUCKY BUCK

• 2 oz. bourbon or rye
• .75 oz. lemon juice
• .75 oz. simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 strawberry, sliced
• Ginger beer

Method; press the lemon juice, simple syrup and strawberry in a cocktail shaker with a spoon or muddler. Add the bourbon or rye bitters, ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass and then top with ginger beer and garnish with a strawberry.
